URGENT:
FOOD, SHELTER & SANITARY JULY-AUGUST 2022

To all friends,

Dear reader, dear Gofundme.com Visitor or Donor, thank you already for reading our story and for helping us perhaps with our struggles, letting us better fulfill our dreams, improve our lives and our progress as children and youths in Africa.

We are the children and youths of Kamuli Community Brass Band (KCBB).

We are currently fundraising monthly, to try to cope with costs we have not been able to cover by ourselves so far in a steady and sufficient manner.

Our hearts and minds will bless you and go to you if you would consider a small donation to us – thank you so much in advance !

Each Donor will receive a named PDF printable certificate for his donation, with mention of its preferred spending usage as wished for by the donor.

You can find the current needs and the corresponding funding sought in the table (in two parts) below, and perhaps accord your donation to one of the items mentions, fully or partially - as you wish and if you can:

Every little bit helps, and is valued and cherished in our hearts as much as larger donations!

Please do not forget to visit our website www.kamulibrassband.org , listen a bit to our current and future brass band music, discover about our life and activity in video or photo, and perhaps drop us an message, a greeting, a best wish or an idea or suggestion?

With our gratitude and kindest toughts,

The children and youths of Kamuli Community Brass Band (KCBB),

Geoffrey Tibagalika, Director of KCBB

Dimitri Arnauts, Composer for and Ambassador of KCBB

MORE INFO:

These students do their final exams which are set by the Uganda national examination board which is a governing body under the ministry of education .and it's responsible for all finalists in primary, secondary and vocational institutes. And it is this board that determines whether the student from these levels are eligle to go to another education level.

These exams are paid, each student at every level is obliged to pay a fee that is set by this board, and every level pays a different amount, which is called registration fee.

For any Candidate/ finalist has to register so that he or she is eligible to sit for these exams. Any student that does not register and pay the set amount cannot be allowed to do the exams.

As Kamuli community brass band we're happy that some 15 of our children are in the final/candidate classes and they are supposed to sit for these exams which will start in early December as per the Uganda national examination board time table,

We have 16 children who are to sit for these exams: 12 children are in primary seven and 4 are in senior four (O'level).

In total we are supposed to pay £ 2.000 (two thousand British Pounds Sterling), which is supposed to be paid to their school,s so that they are registered and be eligible to do their final exams.

Kamuli community brass band: one of our core values is education and it's our objective to see that these vulnerable children, while in the band get, a chance to go to school and receive education, so that their future is bright - not only with music skills, but with also having professions, in other different areas.

Therefore, we are crying out to all our friends and supporters to help us so that our children are registered: let us give them a chance, and have some  hope in life!

Any amount counts and can make to the success of these children.

These registration fees include all other fees e.g, bank charges.

Friends: kindly support us by donating to this urgent cause.

Thank you so much!

Tibagalika Geofrey, KCBB NGO Director
